BNP vice chairman Mohammad Shahjahan and his wife Begum Rahima Shahjahan have caught COVID-19.

BNP chairperson’s press wing member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the news.

“Both of them were receiving treatment from their home. The next decision about their treatment will be taken on the advice of the doctor on Tuesday,” he said.

Meanwhile, BNP standing committee member Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku, organizing secretary Shama Obaid, Fazlul Haque Milon and former MP Zahir Uddin were also infected with the virus.
